I have co-established, with Steve Baker MP, an Educational Charity to further the understanding of the Great Projects that Richard Cobden and the Manchester Reformers were concerned with, such as the promotion of universal unilateral free trade, the promotion of arbitration over war, the abolition of a laws, such as the Corn Laws (and others) that protect privilege at the expense of the common man. The modern day policies we are promoting, which are in the spirit of the above Great Reformers is what I term “Honest Money.” You can see more about this at the Cobden Centre on the following link http://www.cobdencentre.org/2009/08/a-day-of-reckoning/.
I am delighted to be involved with The Centre for Entrepreneurship. Nothing can be more rewarding that seeing an organisation that promotes the interests of all of us entrepreneurs, who are by nature impossible to herd together, like cats, we are very individualist, however our work is the alpha and the omega of the economy, the life blood if you like, and needs to be represented in the higher echelons of the establishment.
